About Us
In 1981, Jerry Pillow opened Jerry’s Steak House. He used a modified backyard grill from Sears sitting in what used to be a fireplace. Pretty soon, Jerry’s had become a landmark of Trumann and Northeast Arkansas. Jerry retired in September of 2000.
His son Tracy and daughter-in-law Kellie took over the business and began to grow the lunch side of the business. They added many sandwiches to the menu, one being the famous Jerry’s Signature Steak Sandwich.
In 2002, Tracy and Kellie put in a 48 inch commercial grill and a ventilation system. They increased the business by 30%. In 2003, they bought the building next door, put a door in between the two buildings and began to renovate. In 2006, they opened up the new building and doubled the seating capacity. They added salads and desserts. There are plans to expand the kitchen area.
